El Perro Nego, an award-winning burger restaurant, is looking for a Chef to join the team at our Edinburgh restaurant. We are known as an award-winning burger joint, having grown from a pop-up outfit to a multi-site operator.
To join the team you don’t necessarily need to have worked in a kitchen, although prior experience in hospitality would be ideal. Training will be provided for this role.

Required Skills:
An interest in food and restaurants would be ideal
Capacity for hard work
Desire to learn the fundamental skills required to work as a hospitality professional
Food safety and hygiene
Cleanliness and organisation
Product storage, rotation, and preparation (mise en place)
If you don’t have it already, you will be expected to acquire a level 2 certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene
