Levy UK are looking for a Hospitality, Conference, Events and Hospitality Duty Manager to join the team at the Madejski Stadium, home of Reading Football Club!
Overview of the business
Despite being a football stadium, the majority of Levy's income at Reading is from conference and events. It is anticipated that, in a normal trading year, the split can be as high as 65/35 C&E Vs Football. Hospitality revenue is approximately 40% of matchday income.
Delivering a quality match day hospitality experience is essential to overall Client satisfaction, delivering an industry leading C&E experience is vital to the overall commercial success for Levy.
C&E events of 2-300 attendees are the core but up to 500 can accommodated.
The stadium can host multi events on the same day and will regularly trade 6 days a week.
Team work and a 'can do' ethic is vital

Overall responsibility for the day to day delivery of Hospitality, Conference and Events functions, reporting into the Operations Manager who will retain the Strategic responsibility
Building strong client liaisons
Development of the Hospitality, C&E operational team
Liaising closely with relevant departmental heads to ensure a team work approach at all times
Deputising for the Operations Manager as required
Ensuring adherence to company procedures including but not limited to Food Safety, Health and Safety, employment law.
Working with the Operations Manager to deliver staffing plans to ensure service delivery within defined budgeted cost
Working with the client to deliver their expectations
