Content Manager

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £35000 – £38000/annum

Are you a content expert with a flair for digital channels? We have a fantastic role for a Content and Digital Channels Manager to join our client, a highly regarded professional membership body operating within the legal sector. This is a hybrid role working partly from home and partly from our clients offices in Central London.

The Content and Digital Channels Manager will be responsible for coordinating content from special interest groups in the legal sector, and exploiting the wide range of publishing content they are producing across a range of channels including their website; their online archive of documents and data; and in their working groups where their members come together to share information and views. This role will be responsible for the hands on editing of content on the website, be the key point of contact to their publisher in relation to their flagship journal publication and identify opportunities for the content strategy. With responsibility for the website, the Content and Digital Channels Manager will ensure content on the website is accurate, and that the website is utilised at its optimum capacity for our clients members.

The successful candidate will have experience in commissioning content and executing a content strategy, ideally with a user centric focus. Digital publishing skills are essential including experience in using CMS to upload and edit content. The successful candidate will have superb communication skills, and be confident in dealing with a range of different professional authors, in this case largely lawyers and legal experts. Strong planning, organisation and editorial project management skills will also be essential in order to be successful in this role. Finally, any experience, knowledge or interest in law – particularly immigration, asylum and nationality law within the UK would be a significant advantage.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
