Continuous Improvement Project Lead

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum

We're working on a brilliant role that will join the Operations and Improvement team of a prominent Academic publisher and lead the charge in continuous improvement projects that span the entire sales cycle for their academic product catalogue. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and act as the voice of Academic Sales in improvement initiatives and technology projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Championing continuous improvement, coaching the broader community in Lean methodology, and fostering active participation in improvement initiatives
Strategising and guiding regular process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools
Effectively measuring and monitoring the benefits derived from these enhancements
Serving as a Product Owner for critical sales systems, ensuring technology changes align with user requirements

This client offers a hybrid work setup with a minimum of 2 days per week at their Oxford office.

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate proficiency in fundamental Lean Six Sigma tools like project charters, SIPOC diagrams, Value Stream Maps, effort/impact charts, and possess strong communication skills. You should be capable of facilitating workshops and delivering presentations to stakeholders at all organisational levels. While not essential, familiarity with Agile and experience representing users as a product owner or SME in technology projects or change initiatives is a plus.

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
