Times: 10.30 till 18.00
We are looking for a regular cook, with a minimum of catering level 2 to help fill some shifts. It would be Fri-Sunday every other week with additional shadow shifts in the beginning with the cook here. The person in question must be comfortable with altering textures and following SALT guidelines where applicable.
You will be working for a small charity caring for people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities- with in close proximity to city centre.
Key task: To provide a varied, balanced and nutritious meals for the residents, using fresh and seasonal produce.
Main Responsibilities:
· Prepare and serve meals in accordance with health and safety and hygiene legislation
· Provide varied balanced and nutritious meals
· Provide specific dietary requirements for individuals
· Be aware of individual likes and dislikes, food allergies
· Have an understanding about textures and consistency
· Provide individualised meal plans when required
Must have:
· Level two in food and hygiene
· Must be comfortable with altering textures and following SALT guidelines
· Previous catering experience
· Be willing to have an enhanced DBS check
