Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Cook to join an Emergency Accommodation Unit on an initial 3-month temporary contract based in Fallowfield, Manchester. This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week (10am to 2pm).
This is a hugely rewarding role, helping to feed those most in need in the society.
Duties will include:
* Preparing a cooked meal each day for 30 homeless residents
* Preparing and cooking two meals each day in preparation for the weekend
* Purchasing food from local vendors to produce high quality meals
* Budget monitoring in line with Manchester Council’s budget
Requirements:
* Experience of preparing and cooking meals
* Hold a qualification in food preparation and cooking at NVQ level 2 or an equivalent qualification.
* Must hold Foundation Food Hygiene Certificate or an equivalent qualification and have knowledge of health and safety regulations.
