Our client is a charming elderly care home based in Wokingham, currently looking for a part-time Cook on a job share basis.
The position would suit someone with experience of working as a Cook in an elderly care setting or in a school environment.
Your job role would include planning and preparing nutritious meals for elderly residents, baking cakes and preparing evening sandwiches etc.
You would be lone working but would have some support from the care staff on shift.
The position is 4 shifts one week (Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun) and 2 shifts the following week(Thu and Fri) as a normal pattern. Working hours are 7am-3pm. You would be expected to work extra shifts to cover any holiday or sickness.
