Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Cook to join an Adult Day Centre based in Newark on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This role is working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties:
* Order ingredients to make high quality meals for residents
* Plan and prepare 2 course meals for residents
* Ensure that food is presented and portioned correctly
* Be responsible for security of the kitchen, dining and food storage areas
* Maintaining stock levels
Requirements:
* Either City &Guilds 706/1/2, NVQ Level ½ in food preparation or equivalent.
* Knowledge of responsibilities under the food safety act and associated legislation
* Knowledge of menu planning
