Salary : £12 – £15/hour
4Recruitment Services are seeking to recruit a Cook to work for one of our clients who offers supported accommodation in Southwark.
You will assist in the delivery of catering services to the standard required in line with clients values.
You will be required to cater for approx. 18 customers. The successful candidate will have an induction on their first day by the permanent cook.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
To prepare, cook and serve healthy meals to a high standard whilst offering value for money and ensuring that particular dietary and cultural needs and preferences are met
Assist in food preparation and service
Complies with legislation in relation to food hygiene
Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times
Ensure all catering supplies are ordered within budget, stored correctly and stock count is maintained
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of home cooking, catering or a professional kitchen and healthy menu planning and understanding of working with vulnerable client groups.
Up to date food hygiene certificate
Level 2 in Food Safety is desirable.
