COOK/CATERING ASSISTANTS NEEDED!
Job Accountabilities
To undertake general kitchen duties, serving of meals including the organisation, setting up, clearing and cleaning up.
To sell meals, snacks, and beverages as required.
To assist in ensuring that contract standards are met.
To ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, etc. 1974 the Council’s Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work.
To maintain awareness of and commitment to the Council’s Equal Opportunity Policies in relation to both employment and service delivery.
Essential Experience
Capable of clearing up and washing up under the direction of the Head of Kitchen.
Serve food within guidelines laid down by the Head of Kitchen.
Maintain professional standards and comply with statutory requirements.
To present and maintain a high quality catering service.
