Cook / kitchen assistant
£9.90pn. 32 hours per week
Gabriel Court has an exciting opportunity for a cook / kitchen assistant to join our friendly team. You will be working 2 days per week as a cook and 3 days per week as a kitchen assistant supporting our chef. Hours of working are, Monday – Friday 7am – 1.30pm plus some weekends when required.
Requirements
A level 2 qualification in food safety and hygiene is essential.
Performing roles such as kitchen assisting, preparation of breakfast, lunch, and supper.
You will be able to prepare appetising meals – breakfast lunch, catering for different dietary requirements for our 44 residents, some of whom require soft and pureed foods.
Experience in preparing and cooking hearty wholesome food is essential,
You will also be expected to work your share of the cleaning rota to maintain our hygiene standards
You need to be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work to menus and communicate well with colleagues and our residents.
