Corporate Chef (Mon to Fri)

Salary : £28000 – £30000/annum
Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one our well established and successful clients in Basingstoke.
Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates to join the team.
The Role:
The role consists of overseeing the office canteen to include all aspects of food preparation, such as making salads and preparing sandwiches plus daily specials. You will choose ingredients and design a menu to include good use of seasonal food items, creating delicious dishes that inspire staff to come back again and again to see what’s new in the canteen.
* Prepare staffs’ orders according to their preferences.
* Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
* Being responsible for health and safety.
* Being responsible for food hygiene practices.
* Experiment to come up with new specialties that will draw staff into the canteen.
* Coaching the other member of kitchen staff, so they perform at their best.
* Determine how much food to order and maintain an appropriate supply at the canteen.
Hours & Pay:
* £28,000 to £30,000
* Monday to Friday
* 0730 to 1530
Requirements are:
* Ability to work quickly under pressure.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Good level of numeracy.
* Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.
* Positive and approachable manner.
