Seymour John, are working in partnership with a leading distribution business in South Birmingham to recruit for a sales ledger supervisor on a contract basis. Start date ASAP.
The Company
A distribution business in South Birmingham – easily commutable from Solihull, Coleshill, Redditch, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the accounts receivable process, while overseeing one member of staff.
Self-bill experience is essential for this position owing to the nature of the business. You will ensure targets and metrics are met, and analyse and identify risks with accounts. You will be comfortable communicating with operations and commercial teams to resolve queries.
As an experienced AR professional you will be confident to maintain internal controls, ensuring the business’s assets are safeguarded.
You will consistently review and improve processes and review risk controls on an ongoing basis to ensure AR is kept in good order.
The Individual
The successful applicant will be a self-starter and will have proven experience working within credit control/ accounts receivable/ debt management. You will ideally have self-bill reconciliation experience, be comfortable using ERP systems and competent communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
