Credit Control Supervisor is varied permanent position responsible for the managing key customer accounts, invoicing and collection. As part of a rapidly growing business, and an ambitious group owner, you will hands on supporting the credit & sales team and collaborating with department heads and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure maximum amount of debt is recovered. The day-to-day duties will involve overseeing a small team responsible for credit control & sales ledger, hands on credit control of key senior accounts, managing allocation of payments, reconciliations of customer accounts and investigation/resolution of sales ledger/credit queries which can be on various bespoke portals. Dealing with complex query management. Ensuring targets around invoicing and cash collection are delivered by the team. Generation of weekly and monthly reports around aged debt, unallocated cash. Identifying and supporting delivering process improvements across the team & wider business to introduce and develop more efficient ways of working as well as being involved in ad-hoc projects to support senior management.

The ideal candidate will need experience within a similar position, knowledge of all functional aspects of sales ledger and credit control, key MS excel skills and strong problem-solving ability. You will be comfortable building relationships at all levels internally/externally and be used to managing workloads to meet time-constraint deadlines. You will have some experience of managing/motivating a team, excellent organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence. You will be able to work to set targets and meet deadlines with a pro-active and calm working approach.
