Accuracy is essential in all aspects of this Credit Control position and you will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in your previous roles.The company sells products not services.
The Credit Controller role requires excellent written and telephone communication skills and strong Sales Ledger experience.
Posting cash to customer ledger accounts.
Managing the ledger to make sure balances reflect outstanding amounts. The ledger contains approx. 650 active accounts with balances ranging from £10 to £100,000
Sending copy invoices where required..
Ensuring over due debt is successfully recovered. This may involve negotiations with customers.
Counting and banking cash. This is a small part of the work as most payments are made by BACS or Card.
Taking card payments and posting to the customer’s account.
This is not an exhaustive list of all Credit Controller duties and you must be adaptable and flexible in your approach. You must have strong Accounts receivable experience
Credit Control, Sales Ledger experience is essential.
