Credit Control Assistant | Shrewsbury, Shropshire | Contract | £20000 – £26000 p/annum + benefits
Seymour John, Shropshire, are working with an established organisation in the Shrewsbury area.
The Company
A stable and reputable business in the Shrewsbury area, are looking for a capable credit control assistant to join their team on a contract basis.
The Opportunity
You will be an experienced credit controller who is happy working through historical debt to identify issues and obtain overdue payments where possible.
You will be comfortable with proactively chasing outstanding payments over the telephone. You should be a confident communicator who can demonstrate empathy and tenacity to ensure monies are received on time.
You will process payments and remittances, allocate receipts, complete bank reconciliations, process self bills and applications for payment as well as supporting the wider finance team where needed.
The Individual
You will be an experienced credit controller who is happy working on a contract basis until Spring, with possible scope for a longer term role.
