Demi Chef de partie
Job Type : Permanent, Part Time, Part Time
Salary : £24000 – £25000/annum
Are you passionate about modern cooking techniques, street food and making different types of cuisine? Do you like being creative with your work? Our client – a prestigious Cambridge college – is looking for a Demi Chef-de-partie to be part of their fantastic kitchen staff.
You will report to both the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, helping to deliver their dining vision. You will use your NVQ level 2 in professional cookery to make sure the kitchen is well equipped to handle big events and runs efficiently day-to-day.
You’ll be able to take initiative in your role, using your cooking skills to prepare food to the highest standard, and provide fresh, creative meals for all college outlets including the Master’s lodge, Bespoke functions and Conferences.
To succeed in this job you should have:
• Good cooking skills, experience and knowledge to contribute to the kitchen staff
• Familiarity with operating in a fast paced, large volume environment
• Someone who likes to work hard and takes pride in customer satisfaction
This salary for this role is £24,057 per annum, with some fantastic benefits including automatic enrolment into a pension scheme, 33 days of annual holiday (including Public Holidays), a meal on duty (where eligible) and a medical cashback scheme.
