Position: Deputy Catering Manager.
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Ark Victoria Academy, Talbot Way, Birmingham, B10 0HJ
Hours: 36.5hrs per week (6.45am to 2.30pm)
An opportunity has arisen for the position of Deputy Catering Manager to work within the above location.
Reporting to the Catering Manager, the main duties and responsibilities will include the delivery of a high standard of catering provision including the preparation and cooking of food. You will be self-motivated with an excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and will support the Catering Manager to ensure all students/staff are catered for.
In addition, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of relevant paperwork and you will assist the Catering Manager in the ongoing training and supervision of staff in all aspects of catering and in line with current legislation.
Requirements
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Previous catering experience essential
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
This position is subject to the completion of an Enhanced DBS
