Deputy Manager – Pasty Shop and Uppercrust @ Charing Cross Station
At SSP UK we are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join our management team at Charing Cross Station, looking after The Pasty Shop and Uppercrust.
You will be part of a global company – SSP, a leading operator of food and beverage concessions in travel locations, operating restaurants, bars, cafés, food courts, lounges and convenience stores in airports, train stations, motorway service stations and other leisure locations. We take great pride in developing our teams to provide the best food, drink and service for our customers in what is often a very busy environment.
Reporting directly to our General Manager, your working week will be varied; from being hands on and leading the team from the front, to assisting the General Manager in recruiting, training and meeting key financial targets.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Previous experience of managing a diverse team of people in a similar environment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced team leader/supervisor
* Experience in coaching, training, mentoring and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service whilst meeting financial and operational targets
* Previous experience of having P&L financial accountability and exercising the necessary controls required when running a unit – (control of GP, labour, profit etc.)
