Company & Project: An award winning Top 100 Main Contractor with an long standing reputation working in the Residential market have an urgent requirement for a Design Coordinator with coverage across the London region.
Due to a strong period of successful contract awards, they require additional support in project design co-ordination on a number of projects in excess of £10m.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the design process, supervising consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. Liaising with the on-site delivery team and the central design team. This candidate should have a good knowledge of practical construction methodology in addition to experience assisting in managing technical information on projects.
Desirable Experience:
* Previous experience on construction projects £5m+.
* 2 years+ experience in the construction industry.
* Adept with assisting with the appointment and supervision of external consultants.
* Sector experience across multiple sectors including new build and/or refurbishment.
* Previous Roles: Assistant Design Manager OR Design Manager OR Design Coordinator OR Project Architect.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management from a recognised institution at 2:1 or better.
