Howdens is currently seeking a Digital Acquisition Manager to join our Digital Acquisition Team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketeer to support the Head of Digital Acquisition in developing our paid media, email marketing, and service review strategies.  This Digital Acquisition Manager role is full-time and permanent with a blend of home and office work based in our Raunds office in Northamptonshire.

What will I be doing as a Digital Acquisition Manager?

– Manage a Digital Acquisition Executive and our agency partners, executing campaigns and other activities.
– Have day-to-day management of our paid media agency, ensuring the implementation of an effective paid ad strategy.
– Manage additional paid social campaigns and boosted social content run in-house.
– Create ad creative and paid search ad copy, using both agency and in-house support.
– Delivering regular reporting, identifying, and influencing the correct metrics, and using third-party tools to analyse and report on competitor paid media activity.
– Defining an email marketing communications plan and creating dynamic email marketing campaigns.
– Working with agency partners and in-house teams to deliver additional email marketing campaigns and templates with static content.
– Managing the service review management process, ensuring the team identifies, manages, and resolves complaints and comments left on review sites.
– Working with our agency partner to create, refine, and distribute the monthly Social Listening & Sentiment Report.
– Providing direction and support to direct reports and developing the capability of the team.

What do I need to qualify for this Digital Acquisition Manager role?

– Experience within a digital marketing role where you have had hands-on experience in managing paid media and email campaigns.
– Demonstrable experience with agency management, budget planning, managing service or product reviews through a third-party platform, content production, and data analysis to inform planning and strategy.
– Proficiency in Google Ads Manager, Meta Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and interpreting data.
– Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
– A track record of coming up with creative, campaign-based solutions to business challenges and marketing objectives.
– Proficiency with Photoshop, Canva, or similar design software.
– Strong proofreading, editing, and written skills demonstrated by the ability to write compelling copy for ads, marketing reports, emails, and briefs.
– Collaborative, culturally astute, and able to use initiative.
– Excellent attention to detail and the ability to get things right the first time.
– Ideally, relevant Google Ads Certifications.
