We have a brand-new opportunity for a Digital Engagement Manager to join our creative Digital team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.

This role offers a range of exciting events and projects to work on including a range of key fundraising events including the London Marathon, MND Global Awareness Day as well as working on our MND Matters podcast.

You will be leading and managing a new team responsible for audience engagement, building online relationships with key influencers and marketing across our digital channels to extend our reach and impact. This is a great opportunity to establish the team and develop effective ways of working.

As a Digital Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our social media channels, online communities, digital advertising, email communications and digital content creation.

An important part of the role will be the delivery and management of our social media policy for staff and volunteers. You will also be responsible for digital safeguarding across all digital channels, ensuring any safeguarding issues are appropriately dealt with and escalated.

What are we looking for?

You will need to have significant experience of managing social media platforms and online communities in a professional environment.

Knowledge of a range of paid advertising techniques across search and socials is essential, and experience of managing and overseeing campaign budgets and expenditure.

Understanding of best practice and key principles in digital content creation and optimisation, including video.

Experience of using an email service provider to send or automate email campaigns.
