Continental shifts (incorporating nights and weekends) | Barking, East London | £30,000 – £35,000
This superb organisation has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Laser / Digital Operator to work on a continental shift basis. Your role will be to operate Xerox Nuvera & Ricoh VC and other digital presses and muck in with other departments as needed. Your role as Digital Print Operator / Laser Operator will be:
* Follow colour management processes and procedures
* To receive print briefs and specifications for jobs to be processed
* Make sure that all consumables are checked for quality prior to loading on the printers.
* Check all jobs for accuracy against samples, traces, briefs, etc
* Quality checks during/completion of each job
* Ensuring output is to high standards of quality
The Successful Digital Operator will be:
* Previous experience operating Xerox Nuvera or Ricoh VC Printers (or similar)
* At least 3 years of current experience in a Digital Print Operator role
* Proficiency with digital printing software
* Understanding of colour theory, printing processes, and file preparation.
* Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on digital printing equipment
Shifts: 12-hour day/night rotating shift pattern (one week of Day shift/week off /one week of Night shift/ week off and then back to day shift.
