Job description
My Client – A large North East Hospital – Require Full time and Part time Experienced Cleaners ASAP.
This Position in NOT just to cover Covid 19 Measures, all candidates are intended to go permanent if successful in the right time-frame. You will need to be flexible to work over the 7 days on a rota basis.
We have roles working on day shift (Apply online only) and night shift (Apply online only) – 37.5hours per week on a Rota Basis.
Main Duties:-
General Domestic Cleaning, Including Toilets, Cafe's, Wards, Etc.
General Patient Care
Cleaning of floor areas as scheduled by means of vacuuming, mopping, buffing and spray cleaning.
Carry out cleaning duties to high standards
Work as part of a team and on own initiative
Maintain the cleanliness of the building to a high standard
Liaise with supervisors/managers regarding daily duties
Successful candidates will have/be:-
Previous cleaning experience
Punctual
Flexible
Confident and friendly approach
Good Patient Care Skills
Approachable
Able to complete a range of routine work procedures – possibly outside immediate work area
Induction training period and on-the-job training required
Previous domestic experience
Knowledge of COSHH
Able to demonstrate good communication with patients, staff and ward visitors, showing sensitivity where required.
Awareness of infection prevention and control
Successful Candidates will be flexible for Weekend Work
The Pay Rate for this role is £9.49ph for hours during the week and £12.34ph after 20.00 and on a Saturday.
