Taylor & Francis Books Editorial have an exciting role for an Editorial Analyst who will generate insight that will help drive the commercial growth and profitability of the business. The position will report to the Head of Data, Research and Analytics and is part of a small team of specialists within the books editorial department.
The analyst will be encouraged to combine analysis of traditional aspects of book publishing, with scrutiny and use of the new metrics generated by digital publishing and requires someone able to work flexibly, and pragmatically, with a large degree of autonomy and independence.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring timely delivery of both regular and one-off strategic analysis to scrutinize trends in book sales and revenues.
* Providing and supporting tools to improve editorial decision-making
* Assessment of editorial key performance indicators
* Capturing, interpreting & augmenting analytical requirements anticipating future reporting needs where possible
* Developing tools to monitor and analyse citation, usage and impact of book content
* Mentoring and coaching other department members around specialist areas of knowledge
