Job type: Full time (potential for hybrid)

Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Media, Editing, English or similar)

About the company: A leading international multi-channel Media group, with a portfolio spanning across print, digital and events (UK & overseas).

Day-to-day duties: Editing, proofing, commissioning, uploading digital content, sourcing images and writing marketing materials

Main responsibilities:

* Editing and proofing editorial and marketing copy across the publications

* Commissioning editorial content and maintaining strict deadlines

* Writing e-newsletters, headlines and other marketing copy

* Meeting print and digital deadlines and maintaining strong relationships with clients

* Uploading digital content to the company website

* Using social media to promote news, features and other content

* Assisting team members during production cycles while managing own workload

* Liaising with the Sales and Design teams

Knowledge/Skills Required:

* Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Media, Editing, English or similar)

* Excellent editing and proofing skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

* Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

* Ability to be proactive and work efficiently on your own without supervision

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office packages and a working knowledge of InDesign (desirable)

* Good team player: friendly, helpful and enthusiastic
