We are currently recruiting for a experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join an industrial manufacturing plant in North Yorkshire. This is an Automated factory, who are seeking an electrical maintenance engineer on a permanent basis. The electrical maintenance engineer will be involved in all site planned and reactive maintenance including project work such as machinery installations and commissioning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical maintenance engineer to join a very well-established company who are offering a long-term career, with a competitive salary & a route for progression. The suitable electrical maintenance engineer would need to be able to work a days shift, and be on call when required, and would be happy to work in a heavy industrial environment.
Skills required for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
Electrical Engineering Qualification/ Time served
Experience working in a manufacturing environment/ industrial environment ( Print, Brick, Paper, Cement, Steel, Recycling, Quarry, Powerplant etc)
Electrical experience with Inverters, Drives, PLCs, Automation, Motors, Fault Finding, AC DC systems, relays, contactors, transformers, 3 phase
Mechanical hands on experience; Belts, bearings, chains etc
Must be flexible to work a callout rota- both travelling to site and telephone support
Experience working on conveyors, mixers, palletisers, packaging machines etc
Proactive attitude and willing to learn new skills
