A new opportunity has become vacant due to some considerable growth within this Facotry in West Sussex. The candidate must be fully multi-skilled, ideally with an electrical bias, and hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification. The Shift Maintenance engineer will be involved in site planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery. The company is very well established with over 100 sites in the UK and they are also providing electrical and mechanical training on all the machines. This is a permanent position which will offer career opportunities in the future.
Skills required for the Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer:
Must hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification – minimum level 3
Experience working in an Industrial (Forces/REME/NAVY) or Factory Environment (Forces, REMEQuarry, Brick, Cement, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing, Recycling, Ports, etc)
Strong Electrical experience with Inverters, Drives, PLCs, Automation, Motors, Fault Finding, AC DC systems, relays, contactors, transformers
Must be able to demonstrate your electrical competence and experience at the interview
Proactive attitude and willing to learn new skills
Must be happy to work a Days & Nights shift
