My client, a specialist education provider within the business sector who are Ofsted Grade 2 are seeking an Employability and Skills Tutor on a full time permanent basis.
The tutor will be delivering short courses to the unemployed on Employability with embedded Functional Skills and potentially other subjects if can (business admin, customer service, warehousing, team leading). It will be a mixture of online teaching (on TEAMS), to going out to visit the learners 1 to 1 to teach them, these learners are around Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire so being flexible to travel is a must. The role is due to the expansion of clients and they are looking for someone who has experience teaching preferably to the unemployed (welfare to work or further education experience).
Qualities needed to be considered:
Experience teaching employability, functional skills or warehousing/ health and social care/ customer service/ business admin etc and comfortable with teaching online
Teaching qualification (pttls or equivalent) would be advantageous
Access to a car and driving licence, and also preferable experience in work-based learning
Ideally you will live somewhere in Cambridgeshire/ Peterborough and happy to travel to visit learners
