Salary : £25100/annum

Peabody has an exciting opportunity for an Environment Caretaker on a full-time, permanent basis based at our Battersea Power Station site, London. Your working hours will be Monday-Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £25,100 per annum. 

About the Environment Caretaker role:

As our Environment Caretaker, you'll provide and be responsible for maintaining the internal and external areas of Peabody Estates and providing a clean and safe environment for the residents, their guests, employees and other visitors.

What you'll need to become our Environment Caretaker:

Experience in dealing with the public.

Knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Understanding of the use of chemicals (COSHH).

The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and the ability to write simple correspondence.

What you can expect to be doing as our Environment Caretaker:

To clean communal internal and external areas including, estate roads, grassed and paved areas, courtyard/garage/forecourt/shed areas, washing line enclosures, service roads, footpaths, walkways, playgrounds, flower beds, shrubbery and other communal parts as directed using appropriate supplied equipment. 

To be responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.

To be responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by Peabody.
