About the employer: Our Client is a specialist Dry Lining Contractor based in Hertfordshire who have delivered a variety of high end internal construction packages across multiple sectors including High end Residential, Mixed Use, Airports, Commercial and Hotels.
Trading for over 10 years this specialist contractor has gained an outstanding industry reputation based on and successful project delivery on repeat occasions to wide a network of clients including, Sir Robert McAlpine, Kier and Laing O’Rourke. With a healthy annual turnover and projects secured up to 2021, our client is expected big year in terms of financial growth
The Role. Due to successful tendering and strong market demand our client is looking to expand their pre-construction team and is in the market place for an experienced Estimator within the Dry Lining Sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this dynamic established contractor who are continuously growing and looking to expand. The role is based at their Waltham Cross office with a competitive salary and package benefits. You’ll be reporting to the MD and working closely with the commercial division
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
* Take off from drawings
* Performing risk and value management and cost control
* Advising on procurement strategy
* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
* Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
* Allocating work to subcontractors
About the benefits / rewards:
The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary between £45,000 – £65,000
