South Ormsby have an exciting opportunity for a Event Catering Supervisor to join the team.

Location: South Ormsby, Lincolnshire

Salary: Up to  £15 per hour depending on experience

Job Type: 24 hours per week Thursday to Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm

Since 2016 the Estate has developed a portfolio of superior quality products from grass-fed beef and free-range poultry to award-winning gins, with more launching all the time.

Event Catering Supervisor- The Role:

As our Event Catering Supervisor, you will represent a heritage brand (Massingberd-Mundy) of our historic estate in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, showcasing our products (such as our Lincoln Red Beef) You will provide for up to 165 small hot beef rolls per day three days per week, as well as overseeing the preparation for service of up to 20 afternoon teas, two days per week.  You will have one – two assistants to help with service, clearing and cleaning.  For the right candidate there is an opportunity for further dates in 2023.

Event Catering Supervisor- Key Responsibilities:

– Manage the suppliers, deliveries and stock control

– Prepare and serve the small beef rolls and afternoon teas

– Supervise the assistants to make sure the process runs professionally

– Clean down food preparation and dining areas with assistants after service

– Manage the Food Hygiene plan (HACCP)

Event Catering Supervisor- You:

– Food Hygiene/Catering/Health and Safety Certificates

– Lead and control deadlines, budgets and activities

– Show attention to detail in all aspects of the role and a commitment to excellence in all areas

– Promoting a positive attitude towards our vision

– Self-motivated, respectful, sociable, organised, trustworthy and punctual

You may currently be a Catering Manager, Catering Assistant, Kitchen Porter, Chef, Cook, Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Manager.
