The Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Bakery Production Operative! Our client is on the lookout for an experienced bakery operative, who previously worked within the same department. Are you an experienced baker looking to work for an amazing bakery with a flexible working pattern. If yes then look no further. You will be responsilbe for preparing, decorating and packing frozen desserts and cakes. Working on the production line that will require the production and decoration of cakes and desserts.
Reponsibilities of a Baker
Working on the bakery production department that will include the weighing of ingredients and loading of ovens.
Ensuring work areas are kept organised, clean and maintained to the high standard.
Completing production records to ensure the traceability of products.
Liaising with management teams to ensure appropriate quality standards and production quotas are being met.
Packing finished products and preparing them for despatch.
Experience in working in a food or industrial environment and managing your own responsibilities.
Will be required to conduct regular manual labour at machinery and around factory unit.
Skills required for a Baker
English speaking and writing skills are essential for completing relevant paperwork and liaising with the management team.
The candidate with relevant experience from food industry.
Food Safety & Hygiene.
2 years’ experience making cakes or pastry whether it be in a bakery or a restaurant, café, school.
English Reading and Writing is essential
