At Bedfordia, every day is different and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to bring your knowledge and experiences to farm operations.
There are a few elements to this role. Importantly, you will be managing the arable and grain team. You need to be good with your time, a great communicator and able to motivate a team. Planning and adapting daily activities for the team to ensure quality output will be key.
There will also be the strategic element. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to plan and deliver projects across the farm. This includes responsibility for the Countryside Stewardship Schemes.
Having quality cereal crop production experience is essential and you will be using your agronomic knowledge daily to enhance crop output.
You will be a strong personality, inquisitive by nature, knowledgeable and passionate about farming.
