Field Service Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £37000/annum pension, flexible working
Our client is a leader in their specialist field work, due to current and predicted growth they are looking for a talented electrical engineer to carry out field service and support requirements. You will need to have knowledge and experience of high voltage electrical power systems. We are looking for this person to move into a senior/lead role and there are genuine career opportunities for further progression.
You will benefit from on the job training covering company specific condition monitoring, products and services to enable you to provide engineering services to their customers. The post will involve on site interaction with customers, reporting on findings and advising on any action that should be taken to prevent system failure.
The successful candidate must be ambitious, an innovator, self-motivated, have excellent practical skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines. You must be prepared to travel, often at very short notice, for
short durations primarily within the UK. The ideal candidate will have completed a time served apprenticeship with mechanical or electrical background and have a minimum of HNC in an engineering discipline.
