Due to continued growth, my client, a global leader in their industry, are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer for the Reading region. Ideal base location would be within a 15 mile radius of Reading.
This role will see you servicing and repairing equipment that will test your electrical, mechanical and networking skills. ATM’s, EPOS, Vending, Arcade, Medical, Fitness Equipment are all desirable backgrounds. This company will consider applicants that are less experienced, providing you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn within an electro-mechanical field.
The successful candidate will:
– Have proven experience at fault finding ideally with electrical, mechanical knowledge – networked technology will be a distinct advantage
– Work well using initiative, common sense and as part of a team
– Experience of reading diagrams and schematics
– Good communication skills, thorough and reliable
– Solution focused attitude
– This is a customer facing role, a professional approach and tidy presentation is essential as is a driving license.
Full training will be given, along with company vehicle, uniform and all tools. This company will move through the interview process quickly, salary up to £32,000 with solid corporate benefits package.
