Seasonal Field Worker
We are looking for a Seasonal Field Worker to join our Abernethy Site on a 3-month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for assisting the agronomy team with the gathering, monitoring, and recording of field data from our Grower’s potato crops.

The ideal candidate will have;
* Enthusiasm
* Flexibility
* The ability to work at own initiative
* Previous knowledge of farming (beneficial but not essential)
* UK Driving License
* Experience working with computer systems i.e excel
The workload is varied & involves physical activity. Examples of duties include;
* Test digging in field to monitor crop yield and quality
* Driving to farms to collect crop samples for analysis
* Collating & recording data using Harvest manager app & excel spreadsheets
* Assist with the monitoring and harvesting of field trials
The role will involve some amount of lone working following an appropriate training period.
You will be joining a very supportive team, who have a vast amount of knowledge and expertise.
