Salary : £13.74 – £16.48/hour 24 days hols + bhols

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join a rapidly growing and successful business based in Lutterworth. The role will suit an individual with a high level of attention-to-detail and organisation skills, with experience of working within a similar role within finance. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for running the finance within the company. You will be expected to process all financial data and take ownership of all financial queries. The role will be focused on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be committed, self-motivated, and adaptable and be able to work with minimum supervision. This role would ideally suit experienced individuals who are looking for the next step in their professional careers. Any qualifications undertaken by the successful candidate relevant to this role may be subsidised by the company.
Duties and responsibilities
* Mainly using cloud-based accounting software – Xero and Pleo
* Helping to control and manage the cash flow
* Raising sales invoices
* Allocation of payments made and received
* Purchases
* Preparing month and year-end information
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns – collating purchase invoices and Pleo receipts
* Dealing with all financial paperwork
* Chasing customer payments
* Collating salary information and forwarding it onto payroll
* Managing company vehicles
* Managing Health and Life insurance
* Dartford tunnel administration
* Assist with ISO audit management in the absence of the Planning Coordinator
* Any additional duties as required
* The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Experience and qualifications
* Studying towards or have Level 3 bookkeeping qualification,
* Qualified in Level 2 Accounting and AAT Technician level 2.
* Demonstrate proven numeracy and literacy and keyboard skills at a minimum of level 2.
* Competent in Microsoft packages to include Strong Excel skills
* Experience in using finance systems in a finance role – Xero and Pleo would be advantageous
This post is full–time 35 hours per week (flexible).
A flexible approach to working hours is required.
Working hours – 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday – 1 hour paid lunch break to be taken away from your desk
Salary: Neg doe
