SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing and highly dynamic business based in Shirley, Solihull in the recruitment of a sole charge Finance Manager.
You will ideally be available on up to 1 month's notice as our client is looking to onboard late July.
We are seeking a sole charge Finance Manager to undertake a broad finance role working closely with Operations and the wider business.
Based on site in their offices with the potential for one day a week from home, this role will immerse you in an exciting creative sector.
The Finance Manager will play a key role in the analytics and rigorous accounting with exemplary attention to detail of day to day financial and administrative management, for the efficient and effective running of the business.
Key duties:
– Put in place robust financial systems and processes in support of good governance.
– Review and approve all transactional finance activity, including: accounts payable, accounts, receivable and bank reconciliations.
– Prepare weekly finance update and monthly management reports.
– Monthly analysis of projects per month and comparison to forecast report.
– Preparing and managing cashflow, forecasting, budgets, monitoring sales and profit forecast and advising directors on all financial matters.
– Lead the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers to provide clarity and visibility across the company.
– Year End accounts preparation and acting as the first point of contact for external accountants.
– Develop operational plans in line with company goals.
– Manage business systems and processes.
– Manage the quarterly compliance reporting processes including VAT
Requirement
– AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience with exposure to SME.
– Experience of accounting software (essential), Xero (desirable).
– Outstanding communication skills.
– Results driven individual that has the ability to work on several task simultaneously.
– Be able to work well as part of a team and individually.
