Position Overview: As an Financial Planning Analyst, you will be an integral part to the finance team, contributing to the strategic decision-making process through insightful financial analysis and planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights that drive operational efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and identifying areas of opportunity or concern.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, conveying key performance indicators and recommendations.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgeted and forecasted figures, offering actionable insights.
Assist in the development of financial models to support business decisions, including pricing strategies, cost analyses, and investment opportunities.
Drive process improvements within the FP&A function, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives requiring financial analysis and strategic input.
Qualifications:
Accounting certification (CIMA, ACCA, CFA).
Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a strategic outlook, capable of translating financial insights into actionable recommendations.
Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization
