Firewatcher/Labourers
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.47 – £13.35/hour 15hrs paid for 12hr shifts
We are extremely busy supplying welders and firewatchers to a number of companies who carry out mobs and demobs on vessels docking in Aberdeen, Dundee, & Peterhead harbours.
By applying to this advert you are registering your interest in obtaining ad-hoc shifts on boats as they come and go. Most mob/demobs last 1 – 3 days and we generally have up to 20 tradespersons on both days & nights whilst the boat is docked. By applying we will add you to the existing list of people who we contact everytime a vessel docks. You will recieve an sms asking if you are available each time we have shifts available. You can remove yourself from this list at any time.
Applicants must be local to the above listed harbours/ports as the requirements are normally last minute, arrival of vessels can change by the hour and no travel or accomodatioon is paid by our client.
Our existing core crew of trades are made up of semi-retired, out of work and even full time employed people who top up there earnings taking on the odd shift here and there.
