We are recruiting for a Food Technologist to join this thriving Food business based on the North London/Hertfordshire borders. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading organisation and impact the business's success.
The successful candidate will be able to develop within the technical team and contribute to the company’s continued growth. The role comes with an attractive salary of up to £30,000 (neg) as well as additional benefits including annual pay reviews, 20 days plus Bank Holidays increasing to 25 with service, a retirement savings plan (pension) – save 5% and the Client will contribute 3%, a retail discount membership, and a health care cash plan membership.
The Food Technologist will be responsible for daily audit of QMS records in the manufacturing units, daily audit of Goods in forms and approved supplier updates in the manufacturing units, all internal audits in manufacturing units, maintaining the traceability of all raw products, assisting with preparations to achieve compliance for BRC and traceability audits, assisting with complaint investigations, micro schedule updates and sample collection for manufacturing units, and assisting with Histamine testing.
To be considered for this role, you must have a good awareness and understanding of food legislation, a degree or equivalent in Food Science or Microbiology or a relevant subject with preferable experience in Food Manufacturing, HACCP, QA, Food Safety, and competency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
