A fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established Angus Forklift servicing company who are well known for looking after their staff.
Do you have a strong mechanical background and experience servicing forklifts? Do you have experience working in Agriculture or Plant industry?
This growing company specialises in the service, maintenance and repairs of all makes/types of forklifts and materials handling equipment to a wide variety of different commercial sectors as well as public sector clients across Scotland. They are now looking for an additional field service engineer to join their close knit team where they will be able to help the company grow and reach their goals, whilst providing exceptional service to their clients.
In this varied role you will be specialising in the service, maintenance and repair of various types of forklift and other materials handling equipment. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and problem solving any technical issues on customer sites to ensure all jobs are completed to the company’s high standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong mechanical background and come from either an Agriculture or Plant based industry. A service van will be provided and a full clean diving license is preferable.
The Role:
Service, maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery
Diagnosing any technical issues
£26,000 – £28,000
External & Internal Training on electrical, diesel and gas equipment (where required)
Van
Covering a geographic area including Perth, Stirling and Glasgow areas
You will have:
Strong mechanical background with electrical experience
Agriculture, or Plant maintenance experience
Full clean driving license
You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work professionally and efficiently at all times. You will have a strong awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace however training will also be provided to CCNSG level.
