About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Front of House/Bar & Waiter/Waitress to join our Carriages Team. The role is based in our fine dining restaurant on our Hereford Campus. 
You will join a friendly, professional and dedicated team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest standards of customer service.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager/Head of Catering, you will provide a high-quality level of customer service across our catering facilities, ensuring all front of house activities and environments are maintained to the highest of standards.
You will use your communication skills and friendly demeanour to help customers understand all options available and provide insights that will ensure customers return again and again.
Within this role you will:
Support the development of the catering services which is consistent with all current food hygiene, health and safety regulations;
Ensure a smooth link to back of house, making sure front of house is immaculate, the needs of customers are fed in correctly to back of house and back of house requirements are learned daily to ensure no confusion and best outcome for the customer is delivered;
Ensure the food in the main restaurant goes out at the right temperature, with the right presentation and the right proportions.
Provide cover to the back of house, supporting the chefs as and when appropriate;
Assist with stock monitoring, ordering and storage and catering waste managements.
You maybe occasionally required to support our cafeteria as and when required, providing prepared food.The main core hours are Wednesday & Thursday 8am -5pm, Friday & Saturday 3pm – 11pm.  There is some flexibility for a rest day on either a Monday or Tuesday (if working hours will be 8am – 5pm).  

About The Candidate
You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
Evidence of delivering a first-class customer service striving to ensure successful resolution of any customer’s issues;
Possess excellent communication skills, you will take pride in your work and that of your colleagues, and always act in a respectful, friendly and courteous manner;
Have commercial awareness, and you’ll demonstrate that you can promote and up-sell products on offer;
Barista training to a high standard will be desirable;
An understanding of food hygiene and willingness to learn new skills, including basic food preparation.
