Front Of House Manager

Salary : £28000 – £30000/annum
Simple Recruitment are working with an award-winning client based in Milton Keynes to recruit a Front of House |Manager to work in their restaurant. To to natural expansion of the restaurant we are now looking to add to our already successful team.
As a Front of House Manager, you will be ambitious, hard-working, and professional; someone who loves nothing more than to provide excellent service and responding to customer’s needs. Responsible for driving the bar and restaurant waiting team to success, whilst communicating effectively with our Head Chef to ensure exceptional service to our customers.
You will work productively to complete various functions such as team management, planning and forecasting, supply chain management for bar and driving sales whilst motivating the team and delivering a great customer experience. You will lead by example by adhering to the standards, whilst adopting a hands-on approach working with the team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·Management of the Front of House operations, including bar, restaurant, and garden
·Ensure there is effective communication between the Front of House and Kitchen teams
·Establish a repour with both first time and regular customers ensuring the warmest of welcomes
·Ensure that all service standards are met to consistently exceed targets
·Maintain financial control by managing the rota and staffing levels
·Use people management skills within the Front of House team, including engagement, training and development, recruitment, team meetings and performance management
·Actively follow up guest feedback and respond to social media reviews
·Develop and implement SOPs for the team and uphold the pub’s health and safety standards and training
·Perform all other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements
·Have proven, successful experience in a similar role in a restaurant or gastropub
·Will hold good time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a calm and professional manner
·Have effective communication skills so all necessary information is communicated
·Have and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
We can offer an attractive salary between £28 to £30k, however this will be negotiable for the right candidate. Live in is an option if required.
