Example Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Gas Service & Repair Contracts Manager on behalf of a client who specialise in delivering Heating and Hot Water to homes and places of work 24/7 every day of the year. With over 20+ years of experience in delivering services to Social Housing Landlords, Private Landlords/Tenants, Letting Agencies and Homeowners, we look after the heating needs of over 100k+ properties throughout the UK.
Our key priority is always the safety of our customers and staff. We are consistent winners of the RoSPA Gold Award for demonstrating very high levels of performance along with outstanding control of health, safety and risk.
We are keen to add an experienced Gas Service & Repair Contracts Manager to manage up to 10,000 properties and around 35 Gas Engineers in the Aberdeenshire geographical area. You will provide strong, professional, supportive, and effective leadership. To encourage a right first-time culture, develop a team, driven to deliver the highest quality of customer service.
Your brief will be to hit the ground running, provide the necessary professional support, training, development and positive challenge to ensure we continue to achieve high levels of compliance, safety and customer satisfaction on covering contracts in Aberdeenshire.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Be a professionally qualified gas engineer with up to date knowledge around gas compliance and relevant legislation.
* 5 years management experience within the Gas industry
* Be a proficient user of IT systems to monitor performance and control costs
* Have a track record of managing teams to deliver operational excellence
* Put in place robust procedures and controls to achieve greater efficiencies
* Effectively manage and control spend on materials and tools to achieve value for money
* Provide regular updates on progress and performance of service

Experience:
* Gas technical management: 5 years (Preferred)
* Must have full Domestic ACS qualifications
