General Catering Assistant

Northampton High School have a vacancy for a part-time General Catering Assistant and can offer 20 hours per week, term time only.
The main duties include:
• Assisting in the general day-to-day running of the kitchen and school food provision
• Assisting chefs with the presentation and serving of meals, buffets and all hospitality needs
• Helping with general kitchen duties
• Kitchen/dining room cleaning
To succeed in this role you will need to be physically fit with a positive, cheerful can-do attitude and be able to work well as part of a busy and friendly team.
We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service so the successful candidate will be conscientious, professional and reliable. Previous catering/customer service experience and basic food hygiene certificates are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Uniform and a free lunch are provided.
