Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a global FM service provider who are looking to recruit a General Manager to support their contract with a college in North London.
This role is focussed around housekeeping and hospitality and is a permanent full time position.
The successful General Manager will be able to demonstrate:
* experience in an events and/or banqueting environment
* familiarity with the education sector, and ideally independent schools
The successful General Manager will be responsible for:
* the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification.
* ensuring cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained
* the use of nominated suppliers and able to manage communications or product switches to deliver all catering services
* working in partnership with the unit culinary team, ensure all standard menus are in line with financial budget
* conducting walk-arounds and observations to ensure that our food/hospitality offerings meet quality and service standards, taking appropriate remedial action where any issues are found
* looking for continuous improvements to service/quality delivery
* maintaining full compliance with all group policies and procedures – purchasing, HSE, Profit Protection, HR etc.
* reporting all HSE hazards, near misses, food and non-food related incidents and accidents through to HSE in a timely fashion
The post-holder must have an Enhanced DBS certificate and confirmation that they are not barred from working with children
