Ground Maintenance
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.80/hour Plus Holiday Pay
We are currently looking for Ground Maintenance operatives for ongoing work. We are looking for someone who has the experience and qualifications in operating a wide range of horticultural and agricultural equipment to carry out scheduled maintenance and grass cutting, specifically a large on road tractor.
The main duties to include;
* General weeding / spraying of paths and shrub beds
* Driving and operating a large tractor
* Lawn maintenance and cultivation
* Maintaining paths, lawns, flower beds, shrubs are free from litter and detritus
* Using and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery and plant
Successful candidates should be
* Experienced in a Grounds Maintenance
* Experienced in driving a large on road tractor
* Hold a full UK driving license and a trailer license
* Certificates of competence in tractor operations and use of tractor mounted implements
* Experience of using Ride-on and self-propelled pedestrian mowers, strimmers, brush cutters and hedge cutters would be an advantage
* Certificate of competence for pesticides spraying (PA1 & PA6) is desirable
* Experience of undertaking landscaping and grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting within a professional environment
* Experience in horticulture services and soft landscaping, hard landscaping experience would be an advantage
Hours are flexible to suit the candidate, can either be 24 or 45 hours per a week
