Our client in Welwyn Garden City is seeking dedicated individuals to fill Gardener positions. If you have a green thumb and a love for maintaining public spaces, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the beauty of public spaces through tasks such as trimming bushes, cutting grass, hedge trimming, bush trimming, shrub pruning, flower and shrub planting, and associated gardening duties.
• Work within lush green areas, contributing to their upkeep and appearance.
• Ensure that outdoor spaces remain welcoming and visually appealing to the community.
Requirements:
• While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, it's not essential – we value a keen interest in gardening and a willingness to learn.
• Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves lifting, bending, kneeling, and occasional heavy lifting.
• Adaptability is key – our gardeners work in all weather conditions to maintain the beauty of the outdoor spaces.
• Approach your work with flexibility and a positive attitude towards various tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
• Possession of a category B driver's license with no more than 6 penalty points is required, as driving small vehicles like sweepers and mowers is part of the role.
Working Details:
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Pay Rate: £11.60 per hour
